Career Background / Experience

I started my career as a carer back in 2001, working in a care home and a mental health unit (MHU) where I worked for two years. I then went onto a different career path until 2011 when I realised caring was in my nature.

That was when I became a caregiver for a domiciliary care company and made my way up the ranks to senior caregiver and then to a field care supervisor. My career shifted slightly when I worked in a nursing home and then for another domiciliary company as a care co-ordinator.

With 15 years’ experience in the care industry, I am dedicated and compassionate to ensuring clients’ care needs are met at all times.

Why Live-In Care

I chose to work for a live-in care company because I like the fact the clients have the continuity of having the same live-in companion and get to build a rapport with them.

The client can also wake up and do things at their leisure and are not against the clock. Live-in care also gives families and clients peace of mind having someone with them in their homes.

Why Eximius

I previously worked for Kate Hetzel, the founder of Eximius. I reconnected with her back in July 2020 and haven’t looked back since. I approached Kate because I had heard about Eximius and knew it solely focused on live-in care and I thought to myself ‘that sounds great!’
