Whatever you need, we can make it happen. That’s the beauty of a truly personal service.
Types of care
Eximius is all about choice. We can provide the right home care assistance for you through our bespoke care packages.
Long Term Live-In Care – 4 weeks +
With our live-in care solution, a dedicated carer will reside in your home, offering attentive home care assistance throughout the day. While the carer rests at night, you can enjoy the comfort and privacy of your own space. Our live-in carers also take periodic breaks during the day to ensure they stay refreshed and capable of providing optimal care. This arrangement is particularly suitable for individuals who do not require overnight monitoring and can manage independently at certain times of the day.
Night / Waking Night Live-In Care
We offer specialised home care assistance delivered around the clock by our team of experienced carers and managed by your live-in carer. Our 24-hour care solution is designed to provide comprehensive and unwavering support to individuals who require constant and immediate attention. Our highly trained live-in carers are available throughout the night, staying with your loved one around the clock. This level of care may be necessary due to poor or irregular sleeping patterns or when continuous care is required.
Live-In Care for couples
Live-in care is a wonderful option for couples who do not want to be separated. Whether one or both of you needs support, live-in care means you can stay in your home together and still receive the care you need. It is also often more cost-effective than a care home, as there is a small uplift in caring for a couple in their home, while care homes frequently charge significantly more. Couples are often concerned that a live-in carer will ‘intrude’ – that they will lose their privacy and no longer have time on their own. All our carers are trained to be discreet and expectations are set from the beginning.

Why Eximius
A personal approach
We recognise that inviting a live-in carer into your home is a significant decision. To ensure a perfect match, we employ a thorough assessment and selection process managed by a dedicated care coordinator. This process involves creating a shortlist of carers based on your personal preferences, hobbies and interests, ensuring compatibility and comfort. Once your care arrangement is in place, you will have continuous support from a designated contact and their professional team. This includes weekly check-in calls, regular visits from your care coordinator and access to a 24/7 emergency on-call service.
Costs of live-in care
It is crucial to consider the cost of care when making decisions about ongoing care provision. That’s why we prioritise openness and transparency regarding our care costs when exploring options with you. The cost of care is influenced by the specifics of care required, which are detailed in the individual’s care plan. For instance, the least intensive care involves basic companionship, while the highest level involves more intricate care requirements such as pressure care, neurogenic bowel or bladder management, or other delegated healthcare tasks.
