About Hollie…
Career Background / Experience
My journey in the care sector began in 2016, having joined the NHS as a nursing assistant, which provided me with diverse experiences in handling different medical conditions. I then moved into domiciliary care, delivering varying levels of care to a range of clients in their own homes.
In 2018, I transitioned into training, embracing the responsibilities of developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs for care staff, before taking on the role of regional trainer for a luxury care home company in 2020. During this time, I also obtained qualifications as a Qualified Trainer and First Aid Instructor.
In February 2022, I became the training manager at Eximius, where my priority is personal development and the upskilling of care staff. I also remain committed to enhancing the quality of care delivery.
Why Live-In Care?
For me, live-in care offers essential support and companionship to those in need. Moreover, it enables carers to directly enhance the well-being and quality of life of their clients by assisting with daily tasks, offering emotional support, and encouraging independence.
Live-in care fosters continuity in the carer-client relationship, with the same carer providing consistent support. This continuity builds trust, familiarity, and rapport between the individual and their caregiver, resulting in improved outcomes and a heightened sense of security.
Why Eximius?
I sought to join a company that fosters a familial atmosphere, where fairness and respect are paramount. Eximius not only provides opportunities for personal development but also acknowledges and values its staff. The company’s dedication to helping others resonates deeply with me.
Its values and mission closely mirror my own beliefs, emphasising compassion, integrity, and the delivery of quality care. Finally, I was drawn to Eximius’s stellar reputation and its proven track record of providing exceptional care.
