Career Background / Experience

My journey in the care sector began in 1992 when I became a carer. Since then, I have been driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Over the years, I have climbed the ranks to senior management levels, but my focus has always remained on the people I serve.

Assisting individuals through their challenges and helping them envision a brighter future has been the cornerstone of my career. Every day, I am fuelled by the opportunity to lend a helping hand and provide support to those who need it most. It is not just a job for me; it is a calling—a chance to make a tangible impact on someone’s life.

Why Live-In Care

My experience in the care sector has shaped me in profound ways, instilling in me a deep sense of purpose and fulfilment. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside others on their paths, offering support and encouragement along the way.

As I look to the future, I am excited to continue this journey, knowing that together we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Working in live-in care has enabled me to do this.

I joined Eximius in 2021 because I loved its ethos. As an organisation, there is a dedication to fostering a positive atmosphere for both carers and care recipients which resonates with me deeply. I find immense fulfilment in contributing to a mission that focuses on instilling hope, maintaining independence and supporting families through their care journey.

Being part of a team that actively works to alleviate the burdens associated with caregiving allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their loved ones.
