Going Above and Beyond: Our Little Touches Make a Big Difference

6 Feb 2023 | Working With Eximius

Live in care offers a safe and cost-effective alternative to residential or nursing care. With the support of an Eximius companion, your loved one can stay safe and happy in their own home, with all their favourite things and people around them. It’s amazing how much of a positive impact this can have on their health and wellbeing.

Here at Eximius, we are dedicated to going the extra mile when it comes to home care, ensuring the best possible support for our clients. Here are some ways we strive to do this.

Keeping our clients in the loop

We value keeping our clients and their loved ones informed and involved in every step of the process. From the initial interview to the development and implementation of a personalised care plan, we aim to ensure our clients are happy at every stage. We continuously monitor our services and make adjustments to cater to our clients’ evolving health, lifestyle and care needs.

Comprehensive health assessments at home

We are proud to partner with A&R Priority Healthcare to offer full health assessments at home to our clients. A&R Priority Healthcare is a group of GPs who are able to assist our clients with their medical needs. As an introduction to their partnership, we are jointly offering all our clients a full health assessment at home. Find out what is included here.

Information sharing technology

Our PASS system is a wonderful tool to ensure everyone who is involved in a client’s care can see up-to-date information. The app stores vital information about our clients’ well-being. It can be accessed by carers, companions, health professionals, loved ones and anyone else involved in the care of the client. Even if you can’t physically be present, you can still stay connected and in the loop with the services your loved ones are receiving.

Being able to share and update information this way means we can always work together and give your loved ones the best care possible. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that we’re always on top of things, even when you’re not there with them. It’s all about making sure everyone’s in the loop and working together to provide the best care possible for your loved ones.

Cooking nutritious meals

At Eximius, we believe that there’s nothing quite like a delicious, home-cooked meal. It’s one of life’s simple pleasures that can lift your spirits and make you feel good inside and out. That’s why we work closely with our companions to share mouth-watering recipes and cooking tips and tricks so that you can enjoy all your favourite meals and snacks without any hassle.

If you or your loved one needs someone to take over the cooking and meal preparation, our personalised cooking service will go down a treat. We provide fresh, nutritious and scrumptious meals that are tailored to our clients’ preferences and dietary requirements. Plus, our companions can take care of everything from grocery shopping to setting the table, so that you can sit back and relax.

We know that good nutrition is essential for health and well-being, which is why we take it seriously. If someone has specific requirements or goals, we can monitor and record meals and drinks to ensure that the client gets the right nutrients and fluids. Whether eating alone or having a dinner party with friends, our companions will make sure that the dining experience is nothing short of amazing.

The extra touch

We always aim to ensure that our staff and clients know how important they are to us. They are like family. Sometimes it’s the little things that count. Sending a card and gift to our clients and caregivers on special occasions reminds them how much we care and appreciate them.
