Welcome to Eximius Live-in Care.
We’re here to help you.

When you’re planning the care of your relatives or friends, we understand that it’s an anxious time. You’re under pressure to make the right decision as well as taking care of a whole host of problems. It can feel overwhelming.

You want to make the right decision. The safety and happiness of the people you love are too important to leave to chance.

That’s why it’s essential you work with a company that has a proven track record of delivering exceptional services geared to each individual client. You need experienced professionals who genuinely care.

What does Eximius mean?

Eximius is a latin word which means
exceptional, excellent or extraordinary.

Eximius Live-in care was founded by Kate in 2016 inspired by her mother, a spirited, fiercely independent 85-year-old.

Kate’s vision is to provide bespoke care services that focus on helping elderly and vulnerable people to live their lives to the fullest. She wants her clients to be able to carry on doing all the things they enjoy, with the support of an Eximius companion or carer to make sure they are safe, happy and looked after.

Kate has also recently added a complex care branch to the company. This was inspired by  a couple of clients with spinal injury and brain injury who Eximius care for. Their amazing resilience and determination meant she wanted to help more people in similar situations. Through working with hospitals, case managers and medical professionals this is a growing area for Eximius, with its own dedicated team.

What is live-in care?

It’s all in the name……! A carer comes and lives with you and takes care of everything to help you stay safely in your own home. They can be there from a minimum of a week, to indefinitely, depending on what your needs are. For people who don’t want to go into a care home it offers a real alternative. It also buys some time if you’re not sure what you want.

We make your life easier by taking away the stress

The companion will become much more than a carer, they will become an integral part of your loved one’s life.

As well as taking away the stress of caring for your loved one’s personal, medical and domestic needs, they also provide companionship. They make your life easier and bring peace and reassurance to your parent or friend.

At Eximius, we believe that life is for celebrating, from enjoying treats at Christmas, Easter and birthdays, to taking your loved ones on excursions and even accompanying them on holidays if required.

What areas do we cover?

We are based in Beaconsfield, and provide care and companionship in London, the Home Counties and across the UK. We are always at the end of a phone and by utilizing technology can keep an eye on all our clients wherever they are. We have links with local companies should an emergency arise or daily care calls be needed.

Be prepared!

And if you think that your loved one isn’t ready for live-in care just yet, contact us ahead of time so we can create a care plan that can be implemented quickly when the need arises.

It’s better to plan ahead, than wait until your loved one’s health and standard of living are starting to deteriorate. By getting a care plan ready, you can reduce the risk that they’ll have a fall or end up in hospital.

Live-in care enables elderly and vulnerable people to live their life to the fullest, safe and happy in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their belongings and memories.

My Mother is very happy with her companion and has said on a number of occasions that she is very lucky to have her. She has the help and support she needs, including with medical issues, they go on outings and short walks, they play games and she helps her to access technology to have video contact with the family.
